Crew members of Halifax W7857

There is not a lot of information I can put forward at the moment on this crew. They came to 419 squadron shortly before October of 1942,I can find the record of the crew captained by Sgt. Frank Barker flying on an operation on October 13th of that year. Barker's crew were:

The aircraft they were flying on that operation was Wellington BJ886, the operation was a raid on the Kiel fiord and this is the only operation I could find for that crew.

Retraining

For November and December of that year, 1942, the squadron was essentially non-operational while they moved to their new and final base at Middleton St. George in Yorkshire. The Operations log shows very few operations were carried out while many of the air crews were on training in the four engine bomber which would soon be delivered to the squadron, the Halifax an improvement over the Wellington.
Many others were being shipped out to other squadrons primarily 427 squadron forming at Croft. The squadron records for the time were badly kept, no names of crews coming and going was properly recorded. Just something to the effect that "fifteen crews left for training" , so exact tracking of this crew or any crew leaving then returning to the squadron is difficult.
When Barker's crew returned from training on the Halifax they had two new members on board,

Sgt. Ronald Sackville-Golden RAF F/E
Sgt. William Cameron Upper Middle Gunner.

From what I can see from squadron documents, tragically the first operation after returning on Halifax bombers was the one in which they failed to return. All were killed, with only the bodies of Watson, Hugli and Dunn being recovered.
All that is known is they were on a "Gardening" operation in the Frisian islands in the area of the islands off Schiermonnikoog. When something went wrong or they were attacked, no one knows for sure at this point. Visibility was good according to the other crews who returned. Two flak ships were in the area and another 419 Halifax flown by F/O Porter engaged in an exchange of fire with both flak ships them during their mine dropping runs.
WO II Watson was originally buried near Grebbtad with full military honours, after his body washed up on the Swedish coast on February 19th.
This was the first Halifax lost by 419 squadron.
