Crew of Halifax DT641

The crew completed their OTU at No.22 on Novemebr 11 1943 then went to No.1659 HCU before arriving at 419 Squadron in February of 1943.
Halifax DT641 squadron code VR-R took off at 1850 from Middleton St.George on an operation against Berlin.
It is thought that a German night fighter of StIV/NJG1 brought the aircraft down some where over the sea, possibly close to the Frisian Islands as the one body of the seven crewmen came ashore there. The only other body found was that of RAF Sgt.Gray.
No mention of where he was first buried. Luftwaffe records show a Halifax being brought down 8km North of Ameland at around 2139.
